I did the first 6 years of the Texas Renaissance Festival from 1975-1980. I quit for many reasons.  We were pregnant for the first time, we were building a house, and my wholesale business was really taking off. I started the show again ten years ago.  If you've ever been there you would have to agree it's one of the most beautiful sites you'll ever see. George Coulam is the owner and he has designed many of the buildings, etc. The feel of the place is very different too.  I suggest a visit!  Click on the picture above to visit their site.
